About this project
London is a remarkable city, renowned for its wealth of world-class visitor attractions. Close to the iconic London Eye, one finds one of Europe’s premier aquariums. Established nearly three decades ago, it was time to assess its performance and explore how the water treatment system—known as the Life Support System—could be prepared for the next 20 years.
It was both logical and timely, given the increasing importance of sustainability and energy efficiency, that ATO Energysaving was invited to contribute by the visionary Sustainability Department of Merlin Entertainments. We took great pride in our involvement, culminating in a feedback presentation on the final day of the audit for all key stakeholders, including the curatorial team, technical staff, and senior management.
Ready for another lifetime
Following the audit, we produced a comprehensive report outlining highly sustainable solutions, aimed at significantly enhancing the Life Support System well beyond its original specifications.
Implementation of the project commenced in 2022 and is planned to continue over the coming years.
Key in this whole project is look how to reuse the big LSS equipment parts, as it is mystery how they did come in.. assess what exists and enhance it.
And so we did!
